Fast growth, Tradition and two 2004 landfalls in PSL

Serving St. Lucie County

Port St. Lucie is still being built. It counted 204,851 residents in 2020, and estimates put it near 268,000 by 2025, making it one of Florida’s largest cities. Much of the growth is west of I-95 in Tradition, a former cattle ranch planned for more than 18,000 homes and about 13 million square feet of commercial space. Its commerce park holds a 400,000-square-foot TAMCO manufacturing and distribution center. Excavators, loaders and site generators there run on dyed diesel.

I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike both run north-south through the city. The Crosstown Parkway, opened in 2019, links I-95 to U.S. 1. Delivery and construction fleets work all three.

Hurricanes back to back

In 2004, Hurricane Frances came ashore on Hutchinson Island on September 5. Three weeks later, Jeanne hit the same island as a stronger storm. St. Lucie County took more than $1 billion in damage from Frances alone. Jeanne left about 2.5 million Floridians without power. In October 2024, tornadoes spun up by Hurricane Milton killed seven people in St. Lucie County. Generators here need full tanks at the start of the season, with a plan to refill between storms.

Mobile fueling or bulk delivery: which fits your Port St. Lucie site?

Three delivery formats. We’ll quote whichever fits your volume, site access and cost target.

Wet-Hose Fueling
Mobile fleet fueling
Overnight or day shift, fuel direct to each tank
A driver pulls into your yard after hours, fuels every truck or piece of equipment directly, logs each fill, and clears out before your crews arrive. No staff required on site.
Best for: Trucking fleets, delivery yards, rental fleets and service vehicles.
Tank Wagon Delivery
On-site tank fills
20 – 4,400 gallons per drop · same-day or scheduled
A smaller delivery truck fills your day tank, jobsite bulk tank or generator. The flexible option when volume varies or site access is tight.
Best for: Construction sites, generator refills, day tanks and smaller bulk storage.
Transport Load
Bulk transport delivery
Full transport loads to 7,500+ gallons · scheduled
Tractor-trailer delivery straight into large bulk storage. The lowest cost per gallon for high-volume buyers.
Best for: Data centers, large industrial sites, agriculture and rail yards.

Port St. Lucie fuel delivery questions, answered

Do you deliver to construction sites in Tradition and western Port St. Lucie?
Yes. We deliver off-road diesel straight to excavators, loaders and site tanks, from 20 to 4,400 gallons per drop. If a site has no storage, ask about a fuel tank rental.
When should Port St. Lucie facilities fill generators for hurricane season?
Before a storm is named, not after the cone points at you. In 2004, Frances and Jeanne came ashore on Hutchinson Island three weeks apart, so a tank that runs dry after the first storm may not get refilled before the second. We run 24/7/365 dispatch.
Do you deliver fuel 24/7 in Port St. Lucie?
Yes. FuelGo dispatch runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends and holidays. Call 800-720-4546 any time, or request a quote online and a dispatcher replies within the hour.
What fuels can you deliver in Port St. Lucie?
Clear on-road diesel (ULSD #2), red-dyed off-road diesel, gasoline, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and R99 renewable diesel. Most customers combine two or more on the same delivery.
Do you deliver diesel to generators in Port St. Lucie?
Yes. Dyed diesel for standby and prime generators, on a refill schedule or as an emergency run during an outage. Generator fueling →
Do you offer mobile fleet fueling in Port St. Lucie?

Can you deliver bulk diesel to our tanks in Port St. Lucie?

How much fuel can you deliver at once?
Tank wagon deliveries run from 20 to 4,400 gallons per drop, and full transport loads to 7,500 gallons or more for large bulk tanks. Tell us your tank size and usage and we’ll recommend the right format.
How much is diesel tax in Florida?
On-road (clear) diesel in Florida carries $0.6580 per gallon in combined federal and state taxes and fees, and off-road (dyed) diesel $0.0260 per gallon, as of October 16, 2026. Sales and local taxes are extra where they apply. Using dyed diesel on public roads is illegal. See diesel taxes by state →
Do you offer emergency fuel delivery in Port St. Lucie?
Yes. If a generator is running low or a site is about to run dry, call 800-720-4546 and a dispatcher will confirm what we can get to you and when.
Can you set up recurring scheduled deliveries?
Yes. Most customers start with a one-time delivery and move to a recurring schedule, so tanks, generators and fleets are topped up before they run low, without anyone having to call it in.
Do you rent fuel tanks?
Yes. We rent diesel and gasoline tanks from 119 to 17,000 gallons, with pumps, meters and hose fitted, and refills on a schedule. See our fuel tank rental page for sizes.
Do you have smaller trucks for tight sites?
Yes. Smaller delivery trucks reach tight urban sites, parking structures and jobsites where a full-size tanker can’t fit.
What payment options do you accept?
Credit cards, ACH and checks. Credit terms are available for qualifying commercial accounts. Ask your dispatcher for details.
