Cleveland still makes steel inside city limits. Cleveland-Cliffs runs Cleveland Works on the Cuyahoga River, an integrated mill with two blast furnaces. Loaders, haul trucks and contractors around the mill run on diesel.
The lakefront port ships overseas. In 2014 the Port of Cleveland launched the Cleveland-Europe Express to Antwerp, the first container service on the Great Lakes. Drayage trucks haul that cargo inland.
