A hazmat-free bridge, two air hubs and a rising river

Serving Hamilton County

The Brent Spence Bridge carries I-71/75 straight into downtown, but not fuel loads from the south. Since 2013, Kentucky has barred hazardous-materials loads from I-71/75 north of I-275, which includes the Brent Spence Bridge. Fuel trucks coming up from Kentucky take the I-275 loop instead. The corridor is now a work zone too: crews broke ground in May 2026 on a $4.39 billion companion bridge, due in 2031. It will take through traffic, and the old span will drop from four lanes to three.

Two air-cargo hubs across the river

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International handled 2.1 million tons of cargo in 2023, sixth in North America. It is home to Amazon’s primary U.S. air hub and DHL’s Global Super Hub for the Americas. The trucks that feed those hubs from warehouses on both sides of the Ohio run on diesel.

The river is the weather risk. On April 7, 2025, the Ohio topped 60.5 feet at Cincinnati, the highest since 2018. The record is 80 feet, set in 1937.

Mobile fueling or bulk delivery: which fits your Cincinnati site?

Three delivery formats. We’ll quote whichever fits your volume, site access and cost target.

Wet-Hose Fueling
Mobile fleet fueling
Overnight or day shift, fuel direct to each tank
A driver pulls into your yard after hours, fuels every truck or piece of equipment directly, logs each fill, and clears out before your crews arrive. No staff required on site.
Best for: Trucking fleets, delivery yards, rental fleets and service vehicles.
Tank Wagon Delivery
On-site tank fills
20 – 4,400 gallons per drop · same-day or scheduled
A smaller delivery truck fills your day tank, jobsite bulk tank or generator. The flexible option when volume varies or site access is tight.
Best for: Construction sites, generator refills, day tanks and smaller bulk storage.
Transport Load
Bulk transport delivery
Full transport loads to 7,500+ gallons · scheduled
Tractor-trailer delivery straight into large bulk storage. The lowest cost per gallon for high-volume buyers.
Best for: Data centers, large industrial sites, agriculture and rail yards.

Cincinnati fuel delivery questions, answered

Can fuel trucks cross the Brent Spence Bridge into Cincinnati?
Not from the south. Since 2013, Kentucky has barred hazardous-materials loads from I-71/75 north of I-275, which takes in the Brent Spence Bridge, and directs them to I-275. Fuel loads coming up from Northern Kentucky use the I-275 bridges instead.
Do you fuel equipment on the Brent Spence corridor project?
We deliver off-road diesel to equipment and site tanks on highway and bridge work, and fuel tank rentals for longer jobs. Corridor sites have their own access rules, so give dispatch your gate and contact when you order.
How should Cincinnati facilities plan for Ohio River flooding?
Fill generator and site tanks before the river crests. In April 2025 the Ohio topped 60.5 feet at Cincinnati, the highest since 2018. In 1937 it reached 80 feet.
Do you deliver fuel 24/7 in Cincinnati?
Yes. FuelGo dispatch runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends and holidays. Call 800-720-4546 any time, or request a quote online and a dispatcher replies within the hour.
What fuels can you deliver in Cincinnati?

How much fuel can you deliver at once?
Tank wagon deliveries run from 20 to 4,400 gallons per drop, and full transport loads to 7,500 gallons or more for large bulk tanks. Tell us your tank size and usage and we’ll recommend the right format.
How much is diesel tax in Ohio?
On-road (clear) diesel in Ohio carries $0.7328 per gallon in combined federal and state taxes and fees, and off-road (dyed) diesel $0.0198 per gallon, as of October 16, 2026. Sales and local taxes are extra where they apply. Using dyed diesel on public roads is illegal. See diesel taxes by state →
Do you offer emergency fuel delivery in Cincinnati?
Yes. If a generator is running low or a site is about to run dry, call 800-720-4546 and a dispatcher will confirm what we can get to you and when.
Can you set up recurring scheduled deliveries?
Yes. Most customers start with a one-time delivery and move to a recurring schedule, so tanks, generators and fleets are topped up before they run low, without anyone having to call it in.
Do you rent fuel tanks?
Yes. We rent diesel and gasoline tanks from 119 to 17,000 gallons, with pumps, meters and hose fitted, and refills on a schedule. See our fuel tank rental page for sizes.
Do you have smaller trucks for tight sites?
