An inland seaport, two railroads and Delta farms

Serving San Joaquin County

Stockton is an inland deepwater port 75 nautical miles from San Francisco Bay. Ships reach the Port of Stockton through the Stockton Deepwater Shipping Channel, across the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta, about 35 feet deep. The port sits on about 4,200 acres, the second-largest port in California by land. It handles dry and liquid bulk, including farm cargo, and operates as Foreign Trade Zone 231. More than 400 acres there are approved for new development. Loaders, conveyors and trucks on its docks run on diesel.

Two transcontinental railroads serve the port. BNSF’s Stockton intermodal facility covers 425 acres, with two loading tracks averaging 7,000 feet and parking for more than 800 containers and trailers. Containers off those trains leave on drayage trucks.

Farm country on all sides

San Joaquin County grew $3.14 billion in farm products in 2024. Milk led at $536.9 million, followed by almonds and grapes. The county ranks seventh in California. Tractors, harvesters, irrigation pumps and dairy equipment run on dyed diesel.

Three delivery formats. We’ll quote whichever fits your volume, site access and cost target.

Wet-Hose Fueling
Mobile fleet fueling
Overnight or day shift, fuel direct to each tank
A driver pulls into your yard after hours, fuels every truck or piece of equipment directly, logs each fill, and clears out before your crews arrive. No staff required on site.
Best for: Trucking fleets, delivery yards, rental fleets and service vehicles.
Tank Wagon Delivery
On-site tank fills
20 – 4,400 gallons per drop · same-day or scheduled
A smaller delivery truck fills your day tank, jobsite bulk tank or generator. The flexible option when volume varies or site access is tight.
Best for: Construction sites, generator refills, day tanks and smaller bulk storage.
Transport Load
Bulk transport delivery
Full transport loads to 7,500+ gallons · scheduled
Tractor-trailer delivery straight into large bulk storage. The lowest cost per gallon for high-volume buyers.
