A river port, the C-130 base and the 2023 tornado

Serving Pulaski County

The Port of Little Rock runs a 4,000-acre industrial park on the Arkansas River. It has two barge docks, one on the main channel and one on a slackwater harbor, plus its own short-line railroad. The river is part of the McClellan-Kerr navigation system, with year-round barge access to the Gulf. Trucks, yard tractors and plant equipment across the park run on diesel.

Northeast of the city, in Jacksonville, Little Rock Air Force Base is home to the largest C-130 fleet in the world. Its 19th Airlift Wing trains C-130 crews for every branch and 47 partner nations. Support fleets and contractors on and around the base need fuel on a schedule.

March 31, 2023

On the afternoon of March 31, 2023, an EF3 tornado with winds up to 165 mph touched down in west Little Rock. It tracked just over 34 miles, through North Little Rock, Sherwood and Jacksonville, and impacted about 2,700 structures. Around 60,000 customers lost power. It was the strongest tornado to hit Little Rock since January 1999. Sites on generators should be full before spring storms, not after.

Mobile fueling or bulk delivery: which fits your Little Rock site?

Three delivery formats. We’ll quote whichever fits your volume, site access and cost target.

Wet-Hose Fueling
Mobile fleet fueling
Overnight or day shift, fuel direct to each tank
A driver pulls into your yard after hours, fuels every truck or piece of equipment directly, logs each fill, and clears out before your crews arrive. No staff required on site.
Best for: Trucking fleets, delivery yards, rental fleets and service vehicles.
Tank Wagon Delivery
On-site tank fills
20 – 4,400 gallons per drop · same-day or scheduled
A smaller delivery truck fills your day tank, jobsite bulk tank or generator. The flexible option when volume varies or site access is tight.
Best for: Construction sites, generator refills, day tanks and smaller bulk storage.
Transport Load
Bulk transport delivery
Full transport loads to 7,500+ gallons · scheduled
Tractor-trailer delivery straight into large bulk storage. The lowest cost per gallon for high-volume buyers.
