One pipeline, a stadium build and 120°F in Las Vegas

Serving Clark County

Almost all of the fuel burned in the Las Vegas Valley arrives through one line. Kinder Morgan’s 566-mile CALNEV pipeline runs from Colton, California, and carries about 90% of the area’s gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. The UNEV pipeline from Utah is a second, smaller source. In February 2023 a leak in Long Beach shut CALNEV for two days, and Nevada’s governor declared an emergency.

Building on the Strip

The Athletics broke ground in June 2025 on a $2 billion ballpark on the old Tropicana site at Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, due to open in 2028. Cranes, lifts and light towers on a job like that run on off-road diesel. Harry Reid International handled a record 58.4 million passengers in 2024, and the shuttles and buses that move them run on fuel too.

Heat is the weather risk. On July 7, 2024, Las Vegas hit 120°F at Harry Reid, three degrees above the old all-time record. On a day like that, a backup generator with a low tank is a real problem.

Mobile fueling or bulk delivery: which fits your Las Vegas site?

Three delivery formats. We’ll quote whichever fits your volume, site access and cost target.

Wet-Hose Fueling
Mobile fleet fueling
Overnight or day shift, fuel direct to each tank
A driver pulls into your yard after hours, fuels every truck or piece of equipment directly, logs each fill, and clears out before your crews arrive. No staff required on site.
Best for: Trucking fleets, delivery yards, rental fleets and service vehicles.
Tank Wagon Delivery
On-site tank fills
20 – 4,400 gallons per drop · same-day or scheduled
A smaller delivery truck fills your day tank, jobsite bulk tank or generator. The flexible option when volume varies or site access is tight.
Best for: Construction sites, generator refills, day tanks and smaller bulk storage.
Transport Load
Bulk transport delivery
Full transport loads to 7,500+ gallons · scheduled
Tractor-trailer delivery straight into large bulk storage. The lowest cost per gallon for high-volume buyers.
Best for: Data centers, large industrial sites, agriculture and rail yards.

Las Vegas fuel delivery questions, answered

What happens to fuel supply in Las Vegas if the CALNEV pipeline goes down?
The valley feels it fast. CALNEV carries about 90% of the area's fuel, and when a leak in Long Beach shut it for two days in February 2023, the governor declared an emergency to allow other ways of hauling fuel in. Keep generator and site tanks topped up so a short outage doesn't stop you.
Can you fuel equipment on Strip job sites?
Yes. We deliver off-road diesel to equipment and site tanks on construction projects. Strip sites often set delivery windows, so give dispatch your gate, contact and timing when you order.
Does the summer heat affect diesel equipment and generators in Las Vegas?
Plan for it. Las Vegas hit an all-time record 120°F on July 7, 2024. Facilities that rely on standby generators should keep tanks full through summer and have stored fuel tested.
Do you deliver fuel 24/7 in Las Vegas?
Yes. FuelGo dispatch runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends and holidays. Call 800-720-4546 any time, or request a quote online and a dispatcher replies within the hour.
What fuels can you deliver in Las Vegas?
Clear on-road diesel (ULSD #2), red-dyed off-road diesel, gasoline, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and R99 renewable diesel. Most customers combine two or more on the same delivery.
Do you deliver diesel to generators in Las Vegas?
Yes. Dyed diesel for standby and prime generators, on a refill schedule or as an emergency run during an outage. Generator fueling →
Do you offer mobile fleet fueling in Las Vegas?
Yes. We wet-hose trucks and equipment in your yard, usually overnight, and log every gallon by unit. Mobile fleet fueling →
Can you deliver bulk diesel to our tanks in Las Vegas?
Yes. Anything from 20 gallons to a 7,500-gallon transport load, into above-ground, underground or portable tanks. Bulk delivery →
How much fuel can you deliver at once?
Tank wagon deliveries run from 20 to 4,400 gallons per drop, and full transport loads to 7,500 gallons or more for large bulk tanks. Tell us your tank size and usage and we’ll recommend the right format.
How much is diesel tax in Nevada?
On-road (clear) diesel in Nevada carries $0.5258 per gallon in combined federal and state taxes and fees, and off-road (dyed) diesel $0.0128 per gallon, as of October 16, 2026. Sales and local taxes are extra where they apply. Using dyed diesel on public roads is illegal. See diesel taxes by state →
Do you offer emergency fuel delivery in Las Vegas?
Yes. If a generator is running low or a site is about to run dry, call 800-720-4546 and a dispatcher will confirm what we can get to you and when.
Can you set up recurring scheduled deliveries?
Yes. Most customers start with a one-time delivery and move to a recurring schedule, so tanks, generators and fleets are topped up before they run low, without anyone having to call it in.
Do you rent fuel tanks?
Yes. We rent diesel and gasoline tanks from 119 to 17,000 gallons, with pumps, meters and hose fitted, and refills on a schedule. See our fuel tank rental page for sizes.
Do you have smaller trucks for tight sites?
Yes. Smaller delivery trucks reach tight urban sites, parking structures and jobsites where a full-size tanker can’t fit.
What payment options do you accept?
Credit cards, ACH and checks. Credit terms are available for qualifying commercial accounts. Ask your dispatcher for details.
